What does an SEO consultant do?
An SEO consultant finds out why your website isn’t getting enough traffic or enquiries from Google, then plans and carries out the fixes. That covers technical SEO, keyword research, content, local SEO and links. Unlike a large agency, you work with the same person who does the work.
Why hire an SEO consultant instead of an SEO company in Sri Lanka?
With an agency, the person who sells you SEO is often not the person who does it. With a consultant, you speak directly to the specialist working on your site, decisions are faster, and you don’t pay for agency overheads. A larger agency makes more sense if you also need ads, social media and design under one roof.
How long does SEO take to work?
Technical fixes and on-page improvements can show results within weeks. Ranking for competitive keywords usually takes three to six months, sometimes longer, depending on your site’s history and your competitors.
Can you guarantee first place on Google?
No, and you should be careful with anyone who does. Google controls the rankings. What I commit to is a clear plan, honest reporting and the work that gives your site the best chance of reaching and holding the top positions.
Do you work with businesses outside Sri Lanka?
Yes. I work remotely with businesses in other countries as well as across Sri Lanka. Everything runs over email and video calls.

Yes. Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) is part of my service. It means making sure AI tools understand your business and cite your pages when people ask about your industry.
